About Voluntary Organization JBCRG

JBCRG comprises two organizations: Voluntary Organization JBCRG, which was founded on April 21, 2002, and the Association JBCRG, which was founded on February 13, 2007 as a limited liability intermediate association and became a general incorporated association in 2009. The abbreviation JBCRG (for Japan Breast Cancer Research Group) is used to refer to both organizations.


Voluntary Organization JBCRG is funded mainly by grants from the Research Support Organization. The Association JBCRG is funded by donations, grants, and funds for commissioned research. Its work is supported by multiple companies and individuals.


The functions of the Association JBCRG are set out in the General Incorporated Association JBCRG Articles of Incorporation. The functions of Voluntary Organization JBCRG are set out in Voluntary Organization JBCRG Constitution. Clinical trials JBCRG-01, -02, -03, -04, and -M01 are being conducted by Voluntary Organization JBCRG.
